   Thank you for considering our company to design or build your new coastal home.

   I started GH Construction & Design, Inc. in Pacific City in 1990 with 20 years experience in construction. The new challenge we faced was the type of construction required to build homes on the coast. The Building Code requires us to design and build for the Seismic D2 Zone and wind speeds of 110 mph. However, the code doesn't give clues how to build for the harsh weather conditions. We had to learn this on our own. But one aspect of building we never change is our dedication to meet the desires of our customer.

   Design is a very intricate part of our company mission. We pride ourselves in our ability to create unique designs to meet your individual needs. We take careful consideration of your view, accessibility, and make sure each room is conducive to your family's lifestyle. Our craft of building construction is certainly the main reason for our existence. We make sure that quality, our most important attribute, is carried out in every aspect of your custom home.

   Over the years, we have had the opportunity to build distinctive commercial buildings and quality homes for some very fine people. Many are proud to be enlisted as a reference for us. Their name, of course, is available upon request. They would enjoy visiting with you, and would even be glad to show you their home. We are insured and bonded, and all our men are covered by Workman's Compensation.
