"We require all riders to have an ATV Safety Education. Earn your Safety Education Card now - Bring it when you rent."

Oregon has new ATV safety laws. Quad riders (and quad riders under 16 and their adult supervisor) operating an ATV on Oregon's public land are required to carry an ATV Safety Education Card, or a temporary Safety Checklist.

There Are Two ATV Safety Education Options

1. Permanent Card. This card is earned when you complete the ATV Safety Education course. We encourage you and all your riders earn this card and bring it with you when you arrive for your appointment. You can take the free ATV Safety Education Course online now to get your ATV Safety Education Card.
Time to complete: 1-2 hours

2. Safety Checklist. This is a free simplified paper checklist version of the full ATV course. You would complete a safety checklist at our location when you arrive for your appointment. The safety checklist is a temporary 30-day operator permit, only good for rental ATV's.
Time to complete: 10-15 minutes
